Fresh Print Runs of Popular Pokemon TCG Sets Arriving in Japan

Exciting news for Pokemon TCG fans in Japan—several popular sets are getting fresh print runs!

Starting this weekend, newly printed stock of Night Wanderer (originally released on June 7th), Stellar Miracle(September 13th), Terastal Festival ex (December 6th), and Battle Partners (January 24th) will be arriving at Pokemon Centers and select retailers across Japan. While availability may vary by location, most stores should receive their stock within a week.

According to sources, these reprints will be sizable but not as abundant as their initial releases.

Looking ahead, additional restocks are expected in April for Paradise Dragona (September 13th) and Supercharged Breaker (October 18th), as suggested by recent preorder listings.

Meanwhile, sales of Heat Wave Arena, which launched last week, are ongoing in physical Pokemon Center stores with a purchase limit of 10 packs per person.

Online sales, originally scheduled for March 14th, faced unexpected delays due to website congestion and technical issues with credit card transactions. A lottery-based sale is in the works, with further details to be announced soon.

As of today, the online Pokemon Center website has a limited selection of sets available for purchase.

The demand for Prismatic Evolutions remains high. Back in January, we reported severe shortages, prompting The Pokemon Company International (TPCi) to pledge an accelerated reprint effort to meet the overwhelming demand. Historically, TPCi has taken anywhere from six to nine months to produce additional stock, meaning new shipments could arrive by summer or fall. Until then, existing supplies continue to command premium prices above MSRP.
